Ye are the salt of the earth. But if the salt has lost its flavor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing but to be cast out, trodden under foot of men.
Ye are the light of the world. A city upon a hill cannot be hidden.
Men light a candle, and put it not under a bushel, but on a candlestick, where it giveth light unto all in the house.
So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and praise your Father in heaven. Ye are the salt and the light, Amen.
